In 2015 the UK Government's Policy Lab was researching why it was hard for mothers to access their free child care initiative. The provision of free childcare for two years olds was an attempt to get young mother's back into work and help boost the economy. They wanted to understand why it was that some mother's struggled to access this free childcare.
These stories are a collection of the real stories that made a big impact during the research. With only two weeks to create them and six stories in total it was a quick turn around but worth it!
